China (Anniversary China Ambershades) sent a bunch of photos from her trips over the last few years. And there were plenty of them. I selected a few for each year for our blog.

From her ownerlady came a detailed story, and I’m copying a few of the funniest moments:

China and toys:

“(…) Now she likes plush rustling and squeaky toys, alternately bringing us an owl, duck, and a cow (she already has two of those :-D). Soon, she’ll need her own toy cabinet because every year, Santa brings her one under the Christmas tree. This year, she stood eagerly by the tree and nearly pounced on every gift the girls pulled from the pile, so sure that there was a hidden gift for her too, after all, she had been good all year. It was there, she got it, and then she bounced around the room with the plush owl like a puppy. More gifts didn’t interest her, not even dried meat, and that’s saying something for our omnivorous dog. (…)”

China and winter:

“(…) According to China, snow is really cool. You can not only run in it but also eat it :-), just not let it stick too much to the paws; those snowballs get in between the paw pads and chill. After one winter with sticky snow, I bought little boots, but they kept falling off her paws, and in the end, running in the snow wasn’t as much fun. On trips, I used to ski behind China, collected fallen boots, and put them back on her until they ended up in the backpack 😀 (…)”

China and cable cars:

“(…) It still holds that she rides cable cars more often than escalators. She loves cable cars, enjoys the view from them, and would prefer to ride them in circles. She doesn’t like escalators; I would say their popularity is only rivaled by the hairdryer, so when possible, we avoid both 😉 (…)”

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks for the photos, updates, and, of course, to China’s entire family for their care 🥰
